Macular Diseases Foundation Australia's national helpline: 1800 111 709
Support is available from the Macular Diseases Foundation Australia (MDFA) to all people living with macular diseases in Australia. The MDFA's national helpline is staffed by educated, compassionate people who can help you understand your macular disease better and tell you about appropriate support services, like low vision technologies and aids, or mental health support.
Call the MDFA national helpline on 1800 111 709.
The MDFA also publishes a number of print resources for patients and their families on topics related to living with macular diseases. Find out more about these resources by visiting the MDFA's website. You can also speak to one of our orthoptists about free MDFA printed materials and resources available to patients at our Bacchus Marsh and Wyndham clinics.
